Stocks to buy today: May 13 List of 20 stocks for profitable trading

On Thursday, Indian markets ended with a deeper decline of more than 2% as investors’ wealth plummeted by more than Rs 5 trillion in one day. The benchmark Nifty 50 fell below 15,800 and the Sensex advanced 1100 points ahead of CPI data, which saw India’s annual retail inflation reach an eight-year high. Nifty midcap and small cap indices also declined by about 2% as uninterrupted profit booking continued in small cap and mid cap stocks.

Meanwhile, Asian markets traded green on Friday morning. In early trade on Friday, the Japanese Nikkei was up 225%, the Hang Seng Index was up more than 1.5% on the Hong Kong Exchange and the Shanghai Composite was up more than half a percent.

As a good sign for the domestic market, the SGX Nifty also returned to green, gaining more than 150 points in Friday’s opening trade.

Earlier, US markets saw mixed closing as the Dow Jones fell more than 100 points, the Nasdaq rose marginally by 0.06%, while the S&P 500 fell nearly 0.13%.
