Sony PlayStation Plus subscription coming soon

Japanese tech giant Sony has announced that its refined PlayStation Plus gaming subscription levels will soon be rolled out to global audiences. Sony said the launch is just one week away, starting on May 24 in Asia, then Japan on June 2, North and South America on June 13, and finally Europe, Australia and New Zealand on June 23.

“Our new PlayStation Plus service is coming soon, and we’re glad to share with you the initial look of some of the games that will be included in the launch time frame,” the company said in a blog post.

The company says that the new PlayStation Plus will offer PS3 games to stream and play on PS4, PS5 and PC. Users of any PlayStation Plus plan will get the same benefits that are currently available to PlayStation Plus members.

“We’re focusing on adding high-quality titles for players to enjoy on the PlayStation Plus service. I’m happy to share a selection of content available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium / Deluxe plans. PlayStation.com will be updated. With the list, ”the company said.

PlayStation Plus premium / deluxe members will have a selection of popular classic games to play, some titles that will show improved frame rates and higher-quality resolutions compared to their original launch version.

For selected original PlayStation and PSP classic games, members will also enjoy a new user interface with menus that allow you to save your game at any time, even rewinding the game if you want a do-over.

Also, players who have previously purchased digital versions of selected games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will not have to make separate purchases or sign up for PlayStation Plus to play these titles on PS4 or PS5.

When these titles are released for PS4 and PS5, players can go to the PlayStation Store and download a version for consoles at no extra cost if they already own a digital version of the title. Some titles will also be available for individual purchase.
