Mahesh Babu-starrer action flick ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata’ or ‘SVP’ has been on fire at the box office since its May 12 release. The film, which also stars Kirti Suresh in the lead role, has grossed over Rs 150 crore – according to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, is globally recognized and has grossed Rs 160.67 crore so far.
He tweeted, “SVP WW box office crosses Rs 150 crore milestone. Day 1- 75.21 crore. Day 2- Rs 27.50 crore. Day 3- Rs 28.84 crore. Day 4- 29.12 crore. Total – Rs 160.67 crore (sic). ”
According to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has grossed over $ 2 million in North America (US and Canada combined) and has grossed $ 2,009,205 or Rs 15.64 crore in the belt.
Adarsh tweeted, “Mahesh Babu: ‘SVP’ storm North America… Mahesh Babu has once again proved his strength abroad… Telugu film government is making a flying start in North America [USA+Canada]Exceeded $ 2 million … Extended weekend total: 00 2,009,205 [Rs 15.64 crore]”
About ‘Government Heavy Leaf’
The film stars Mahesh Babu (Mahesh / Mahi) and Kirti Suresh (Kalavati) in the lead roles. The latest Mahesh Babu film is directed by Parashuram Petla and jointly bankrolled by Mithri Movie Max, 14 Reels Plus and G Mahesh Babu Entertainment.
In addition to Mahesh Babu and Kirti Suresh, the film also stars Venela Kishore, Samuthirakani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Posani Krishna Murali, Subbaraju, Soumya Menon and Naga Babu in significant roles. Composer SS Thaman, photographer R Madhi and editor Marthand K Venkatesh are the technical crew of the film.
