Following the great success of Marathi film Mulshi Pattern, producer Puneet Balan is all set to release a new Bollywood film ‘The Hindu Boy’ starring Bollywood and television heartthrob Sharad Malhotra. Recently, Vivek Agnihotri’s Bollywood movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ which talked about the challenges faced by Kashmiri scholars in Kashmir has created a huge stir. We have seen what they have done in the past but now what? What challenges are they facing now? Are they still suffering? Are they still living like that nightmare? All these questions are very irresistible and so is the situation of Kashmiri scholars. Ever since the trailer was released, people have been pouring out their love. ‘The Hindu Boy’ is the story of a young Hindu scholar who was sent out of Kashmir for his safety and what does he feel and what happens to him when he returns home after 30 years? Popular actor Sharad Malhotra is playing the lead role in this film. Sharad Malhotra who has become a favorite of people for his various roles in projects like Nagin 5, Rebel, Ek Tera Saath, Kasam, Banu Maya Teri Dulhan is now ready to surprise his fans in this new and different role.

I always wanted to help them but I don’t know how, when the movie ‘The Hindu Boy’ came to me I decided that yes! This is my chance to raise these issues and make people aware of the plight of Kashmiri Hindu scholars. Recently, the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been very well received and accepted and I am hopeful that this movie will do good business too.

‘The Hindu Boy’ is directed by Shahnawaz Bakal and he has also written stories and screenplays. The film was shot by Mohammad Younis Jargar. The songs are written by Vijay Akela. Singer Avik Dojan Chatterjee composed the melody. Sound designing by Foley and mixing by DJ Vorley. The film is directed by Noman Khan.
