OnePlus, today, launched the OnePlus Ace racing version in China. This is a “lite” version of the recently announced OnePlus Ace. The Racing Edition packs the same MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip as the Ace but refreshes everything from the original design to other spaces. The new phone is also cheaper with a price of CNY 2000 (around Rs 23,000) for a version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, though for a limited time, OnePlus will sell it at CNY 1900 (around Rs 22,000). The OnePlus Ace starts at CNY 2500 (around Rs. 29,000).

Although the Ace has a flat-frame body, the Racing Edition is a Carvier with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the side power key. It also gets a headphone jack (which Ace doesn’t have). The biggest takeaway is the rear camera styling that seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone is available in gray and blue.
