CCTV footage of the incident showed a motorcyclist walking around the area before a mini truck arrived.
Rashid said the vegetables he had delivered from Azadpur Mandi were delivered to the shop in the presence of a grain porter. At around 4 in the morning, he saw that the sack of lemons had been stolen. “I checked with the porter and the dealer and they informed me that the whole invoice had been delivered.”
He said security guards at the market were patrolling the other side at the time of the theft.
Police said they have filed a case against the unidentified persons at Modinagar station under Section 380 of the Indian Penal Code (residence, burglary, etc.).
