The case was registered on May 8 in a police station in North District under Sections 376 (rape), 328 (poisoning with intent to commit a crime, etc.), 312 (causing abortion), 366 (abduction). , Abducting or persuading a woman to marry her, etc.), 377 (unnatural offenses) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, police said. In her complaint, the woman alleged that she was raped more than once between January 8 last year and April 17 this year.

The woman said she befriended Rohit Joshi on Facebook last year and they have been in touch ever since. The two first met in Jaipur and he invited her to Sawai Madhopur on January 8, 2021.

During their first meeting, he complained, he spiced his drink and took advantage of it. When she woke up the next morning, she was shown her nude photos and videos that worried her, read the FIR.

Referring to another meeting, he alleged that Rohit Yoshi had once met him in Delhi and forced him to do so. “Rohit let me stay in a hotel where he registered our names as husband and wife. Then he promised to marry me … but then he would get drunk and abuse me … he would beat me and make pornographic videos of me. He threatened to upload them and make them viral …, ”the woman complained.

She further stated that on August 11, 2021, she found out that she was pregnant with her child and alleged that he had forced her to take a pill but she did not do so, the complainant told FIR. Zero FIRs can be registered anywhere in the country.
