‘Congress focuses on chicken sandwiches for Delhi leaders’: Hardik Patel

Patidar youth leader Hardik Patel has announced his decision to leave the Gujarat Congress unit on Twitter. Patel shared his resignation letter and tweeted in Hindi, “Today, I am boldly resigning from the post of Congress party and the primary membership of the party. I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work really positively for Gujarat in the future. ”

Patel wrote in his resignation letter, “It is unfortunate that workers like us, who travel 500-600 kms a day in our cars to meet people, find that the big leaders of Gujarat Congress are far from the problems of Gujarat. But the leaders from Delhi. We are more focused on making sure the chicken sandwiches are delivered on time! ”

He further wrote that Gujaratis will never forget that the Congress party insulted Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the Iron Man of India. Patel further said that since the Grand Old Party has broken the trust of the youth, the youth do not want to be associated with it as activists or voters.

In his resignation letter, the Patidar leader also supported the current central government’s policies such as repealing section 370, constructing a Ram temple in Ayodhya and imposing goods and services tax. “Whether it is Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, repeal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, implementation of GST. India has long wanted a solution to these issues and the Congress has only acted as a hindrance and has always been a hindrance,” he said.
