BGauss’ D15 e-scooter launches May 16

BGauss, an electric scooter maker, part of RR Global, is preparing to launch its latest offer, the D15 electric scooter in India on May 16. The company is already offering two products in India, the B8 and A2 and the upcoming D15 will be BGauss’ third offer in India.

The company did not provide much details, however, bookings are open on the official website at Rs 499. BGauss claims that the new D15 will be the safest scooter because it promises more than 20 safety features and claims that it has been built with Indian users in mind.

Some of the features include a 16-inch wheel, telescopic suspension, an integrated braking system, LED headlights and a full metal body. Also, looking at BGauss’ other offers, the new D15 could play Android and Apple smartphone connectivity.

The company has recently raised INR 52 crore Series A funds under the leadership of Darshan Patel, founder of Winnie Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. Ltd., which will be used for BGauss’ growth plans in India, including retail expansion, manufacturing capacity expansion, R&D and internal product development across various EV components.

The new D15 does not have any details about the battery pack, its range, or its charging capacity, however, it can have a range of about 115 kilometers per charge. More details will be released on the 16th, so stay tuned.
