Avenue Supermarkets Q4FY22 Results: Radhakishan Damani-backed Avenue Supermarkets, which operates a retail chain called DMart, reported healthy fourth quarter earnings for the fiscal year 2021-22 (Q4FY22) on Saturday. Both the top and bottom lines of the company registered year-over-year growth in the quarter.
Total revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 rose 18.5 per cent to Rs 8,786 crore from Rs 7,412 crore in the same period last year, the DMart said in filing with the exchange.
Combined EBITDA (pre-interest, tax, depreciation and exclusion earnings) stood at Rs 739 crore in Q4FY22, compared to Rs 613 crore in the same quarter last year, where EBITDA margin increased by 10 basis points to 8.4 per cent. Percentage years
The company’s consolidated net profit jumped 4 percent to Rs 427 crore in 4FY22, from Rs 414 crore in the same quarter last year, Avenue Supermarkets said in a filing.

There was a strong recovery again in March 2022 and a very satisfactory increase compared to March 2021, Naronha added.
